ACG’s International Welcome Centre already attracting visitors

ACG has opened an International Welcome Centre at 345 Queen Street in Auckland and already it’s attracting families looking to discuss their educational needs with a friendly face.

“One family arrived in the country from Malaysia last week and came straight from the airport to talk to us about the right educational pathway for their son,” said ACG Director of Marketing, International, Kim Harase.

“We were there to provide personalised information to the family, organise campus tours of the ACG tertiary colleges, and enrol the young man into his chosen hospitality management course.”

Open to anyone interested in ACG’s wide-ranging educational opportunities which include bachelor degrees, the centre is an initiative to encourage international parents, students and partner schools to drop in and talk to someone face-to-face about their options.

ACG Opens International Welcome Centre

“We have a friendly and knowledgeable team available at the welcome centre to talk to each visitor about their background, goals and ambitions and help to tailor an educational pathway that matches their needs and expectations,” Kim Harase said.

Open each day during normal working hours and manned by staff who speak multiple languages, the ACG International Welcome Centre provides individualised course advice, organises campus tours and helps with all the practicalities involved in securing a quality education.

Education is one of the largest investments and toughest decisions a parent will make, said Kim Harase, and they need to trust their chosen provider.

“We are delighted to now be able to provide a personal and reassuring two-way conversation. Because at the end of the day, trust cannot be communicated electronically, said Kim.”
