Assistant Principal - Hawera Campus

About the role

The Assistant Campus Principal will collaborate with the Campus Principal to foster a high-performing culture while delivering OneSchool Global’s values and strategic goals. This role encompasses leadership in academic and pastoral care, staff development, and the quality assurance of teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities include:

- Coordinating NCEA and ensuring positive academic and pastoral outcomes

- Managing staff professional growth and development

- Contributing to campus planning and self-evaluation processes

- Conducting class observations and walkthroughs to support teaching excellence

- Promoting a positive campus culture through visible leadership.

About you

As an experienced educational leader, you bring a proven track record in middle leadership (e.g., Head of Department or Head of Year) and a commitment to excellence.

You possess:

- Current registration with the Teachers Council of Aotearoa New Zealand

- Strong knowledge of NCEA and the New Zealand Curriculum

- Experience with modern learning environments and digital technologies

- Exceptional communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
