Key Responsibilities
• Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with the Medbury community, including key stakeholders, families, community groups, and alumni through regular communication, events, and outreach.
• Event Coordination: Plan and execute a range of school events, including parent evenings, open days, reunions, and cultural celebrations, ensuring high-quality experiences that reflect Medbury's brand.
• Facilities Management: Oversee the promotion and hiring of school facilities, while proactively developing new business opportunities to maximise community use.
• Marketing and Communications Support: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns, manage social media content, and contribute to school publications to enhance Medbury's profile.
• Old Boys Relations: Coordinate Old Boys' events, manage alumni communications, and maintain accurate, up-to-date alumni records.
What We’re Looking For
• A tertiary qualification in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
• A minimum of three years’ experience in event coordination, community engagement, or similar, in a medium size business preferably service focussed.
• Experience in alumni relations or facilities hire management (desirable).
• Outstanding organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital tools, including Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and design software such as InDesign.
• A proactive, creative problem solver who can work independently and as part of a high-functioning, collaborative team.
