Future Leaders Course

We are delighted to be partnering with the Edge Institute and ACELearn to offer this bespoke course to help grow junior or middle leaders who are aspiring for more responsibility within the school sector.  The course, presented by Neil McDonald and Lisa Newland, commences with GENOS 360 survey, and is followed by three full-day workshops that will explore the concepts of Leading Self and Others, Influence and Key Conversations.

The first two workshops will be held on consecutive days on 8-9 April at Diocesan School for Girls in Auckland, with the final workshop being delivered on 29 August at St Margaret’s College, Christchurch.

During the interim, participants will complete an in-school Leadership Challenge, and participate in virtual check-ins and webinars. The course is ideal for Year and House leaders, Curriculum Leaders, Middle Managers and others who liaise and work between senior staff and teaching staff. It’s also suitable for those who may work in non-teaching roles within schools, such as administrative, property or coaching staff who are looking to grow their leadership capability.

“This has been an amazing experience. We have been led by a well prepared, highly knowledgeable and highly experienced leader (Neil). The way he allows time for collegial conversations around each part of the learning has been invaluable. Thank you. I have gained so much!”

“A great program that I think all leaders should undertake.”
