St Cuthbert’s is delighted to celebrate and congratulate its top scholars of 2023!
The prestigious pinnacle being the award of Dux and Proxime Accessit. These achievements require an incredible amount of dedication, passion, and drive.
Congratulations to Grace Wu who was awarded Dux of 2023 and to Grace Liang who was awarded Proxime Accessit, and top IB student for 2023. These awards are truly well deserved by these exceptional students, and the school be watching the two Graces’ future successes.
Grace Wu demonstrated all-round academic excellence by achieving top places in her NCEA courses all year, as well as in practice Scholarship exams, in Calculus, French, Geography, Physics and Statistics. Grace has been a shining light for some years due to her hard work, dedication, and resilience, she gained her first NZQA Scholarship in year 11.
Grace Liang is St Cuthbert’s Top IB student, achieved very highly consistently over two years, as well as in NZQA practice Scholarship examination in Economics, Latin and French.
