Simple onboarding
SchoolDocs offers independent schools a guided onboarding process. We provide you with a policy framework that is designed from the outset to meet the unique needs of independent schools. We then work with you to refine the site to ensure it reflects your school character and specific requirements. You have the chance to review the policy framework in your own time, send us your feedback, and let us know when you’re ready to go live.
Admin-only Dashboard
Once your SchoolDocs site is set up, your admin-only Dashboard will support you through any policy-related tasks. Track progress, get updates and notifications from the SchoolDocs team, and review feedback from your school community – all in one place.
You’ll also be able to access our Model site directly from the Dashboard. This is where you can compare your school-specific policy site with our sample framework in case you’re considering changes to policy, or if you’d like to read our good practice guidance about a particular policy area.
Regular reviews
A key feature of the SchoolDocs platform is our built-in review feature, supporting you to comply with your obligations to undertake regular policy updates. Our 3-year review cycle guides you through compliance hurdles, and allows you to gather feedback from a range of key stakeholders. SchoolDocs then investigates feedback, undertakes our own policy analysis, and seeks any legal advice or subject matter expertise as needed on behalf of subscribing schools.
Even before your school signs up to SchoolDocs, you benefit from the collective wisdom of all SchoolDocs schools, gathered over our nearly 20 years in the sector.
Updates
Once updates to your site are available, you’ll be able to check and respond to proposed changes before these are published to your school’s site. After a new version of a policy is live on your site, you can track recent updates and view a “release history” of policy changes that have been made over time.
