St Peter's Athletes To Represent New Zealand at Oceanias

St Peter's students Conor McGiven, Lauren Henry and Charli Miller have been selected to represent New Zealand at the 2017 Oceania Area and Combined Events Championships in Fiji from 26 June – 2 July. A phenomenal accomplishment for each of these athletes.

At just 14 years old, Charli Miller, steeplechase and 3000m middle distance athlete is one of the youngest athletes to qualify for a New Zealand team. It is a testament to the coaching of Coach Ange Russek and Charli's hard work that Charli has attained this selection at such a young age.

St Andrew's College win maiden Maadi Cup

St Andrew's College have triumphed in the two of the biggest races in school rowing, after winning the Maadi Cup for the first time today.

The victory in the marquee under-18 boys eight followed their win in the Springbok Shield (under-18 coxed four) the day before, doing the double at the competitive regatta.

The Maadi Cup was a back and forth race, with St Andrew's edging past Christ's College to claim a historic victory by 0.98 seconds from Christ's - the 11-time former champions - who on his occasion had to settle for silver.

ACG’s International Welcome Centre already attracting visitors

ACG has opened an International Welcome Centre at 345 Queen Street in Auckland and already it’s attracting families looking to discuss their educational needs with a friendly face.

“One family arrived in the country from Malaysia last week and came straight from the airport to talk to us about the right educational pathway for their son,” said ACG Director of Marketing, International, Kim Harase.

St Peter's, Cambridge Senior Girls 3x3 Basketball became New Zealand champions at the National 3x3 Championships in Tauranga over the weekend.

Auckland International College's Michaela Jeong's Pefect IB Score

Auckland International College student Michaela Jeong gained a perfect score of 45/45 in her IB Diploma in 2016 and as a result received an impressive number of university offers from the University of Tokyo, Imperial College London, University College London, Edinburgh University, New York University, the University of Michigan, the University of California and the University of Toronto. She chose to accept the offer from the University of Tokyo where she was awarded a full scholarship to study Environmental Sciences in their International Programme.
